It takes two . . . maybe five, to Tango

This morning Superego (the oldest) and Ego (the middle) were dancing a Tango (they wouldn’t let me take a picture, or I would have included it).  This gave me the idea that for family fun we would play Just Dance Kids on the Wii.
Here’s what we all learned about gettin’ our groove on:
Oh Mickey you're so fine . . .
1)      White men really can’t dance!  If daddy had let me take a picture, I would have, but that could actually have been grounds for divorce.  I am also wondering if I should be worried that he selected “Holiday” as the song he chose for our dance off.

2)      Who needs gym equipment when you can dance to “Pop Goes the Weasel”?  Yeah, sounds simple enough, but those kids who are the “examples” you’re supposed to follow are unforgiving in the speed and complexity of the moves.  I’m certain I’m going to be sore in the morning.

3)      Maybe starting family fun at 9:30 at night is not the best choice.  We had had just a late day, but I promised the kids, so I fulfilled the promise, but by the time they went to bed at 10:30 (especially the baby), they were just basket cases.  Had a great time before that though, so it was worth it.

Everybody was Kung Foo Fighting!

I highly recommend Just Dance Kids everyone could play and it was such a blast.  Oh, and mommy is the JDK Champion!!!!!  Kicked all their butts (is that wrong?  Should I have at least let the baby win?!)  J
